About This Campaign
BlakShepard Foundation, in collaboration with The Voice Against Gun Violence and LVP Ventures, launched a comprehensive program for SS3 students at Federal Government Girls' College, Bwari.
This initiative focuses on Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention during April - Sexual Assault Awareness Month. As part of our commitment to the well-being and development of the girl child, we recognize this as a crucial time to educate and advocate against sexual violence, particularly among young girls.
Program Components:
Educational Support
Sponsoring WAEC and NECO examination fees for eligible students
Awareness Programs
Sensitization on prevention strategies and reporting mechanisms
Welfare Support
Distribution of essential toiletries and supplies
Mentorship
Ongoing guidance and support systems
Most recently, under the "Educate the Girl Child" theme, we completed an official verification and selection exercise at FGGC Bwari in partnership with LVP Ventures and Action Against Gun Violence (US), sponsoring WAEC registration fees for 20 indigent SS2 students and formally recognising 10 academic top-performers as peer role models within the school.
Our goal is to make a lasting impact on the lives of these young women through education, mentorship, and targeted welfare initiatives, empowering them to build a brighter future for themselves and their communities.
